Both a solo and group exhibition by 00Island comprises of a new body of work made during a ‘year off’ from exhibiting and includes several works, also by other artists, made exclusively for the new 00Island galleries both in Zürich and London. Organised in partnership with a South London Gallery, the exhibition consists of entirely new installations, interventions, films and by-products that derive meaning from their location and context. The exhibition is a diverse and playful investigation by 00 into facets of art-making, presentation, history, and documentation. A Catalogue Raisonné, the first to articulate a critical in-depth examination of the world (or indeed the island) of 00Island, accompanies the 00 exhibitions (see next project).
